MASTER CLASSES & CLINICS

With extensive experience coaching developing percussionists, Amy Stubbs has earned a reputation for helping young percussionists improve ensemble performance skills rapidly. As Percussion Coordinator of Pittsburgh Youth Concert Orchestra, Amy oversees a rapidly growing percussion program that includes having developed a Jr. Percussion Ensemble, co-directing Jr. Wind Ensemble, coaching sectionals and rehearsals for the PYCO Orchestra. Amy is available to coach youth orchestra or school band sectionals, percussion ensemble, hands on basic concert percussion skills, whether 1-time or on going.

Amy Stubbs offers private percussion and piano instruction in at her fully equipped studio in Pittsburgh, and at PYCO School of Music in Wexford, PA. She has been privileged to work with many talented students of all ages, several of whom have attended or participated at Pittsburgh CAPA, Interlochen Arts Camp, Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, Three Rivers Young People’s Orchestra, Pittsburgh Youth Concert Orchestra, BUTI, University of Chicago, Peabody Conservatory.
