As a timpanist/percussionist, I believe that creating beautiful sounds appropriate to the music is paramount. Fascination with sounds and the multitude of elements involved in performance inspire my work. To perform our best, good instruments, mallets/sticks/beaters, mount/stand, and skill are all part of the equation: no element can be compromised. At A.
